Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the russian federation, the SBI has sent to the court 768 indictments for crimes against the National Security of Ukraine
The State Bureau of Investigation continues systematic work to expose state traitors and collaborators.
Within the framework of the criminal proceedings, evidence and witness statements are being collected, as well as other materials are being processed. These materials will be are used to prosecute those who betrayed Ukraine during the war.
According to some criminal proceedings, the courts have already assigned real terms of imprisonment to the detained defectors.
In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the SBI has completed and continues the investigation of 2 150 criminal proceedings regarding crimes against the National Security of Ukraine.
Among them:
1 633 criminal proceedings on high treason (Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),
399 criminal proceedings on the fact of collaboration (Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),
32 criminal proceedings on aiding and abetting the aggressor state (Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), and others.
Currently, according to the results of the pre-trial investigations:
1 072 people were served notifications of suspicion,
534 people were put on the wanted list,
1 262 people are being checked for involvement in high treason and collaboration,
768 indictments were sent to the court.
Among the recent examples of the effective work of the SBI in exposing traitors and collaborators:
The SBI has exposed the judge who, on the order of the Federal Security Service of the russian federation, has collected data about his colleagues and military prisoners. The cases of three more judges, who betrayed Ukraine, has been sent to the court.
