As a result of the SBI's efforts, tens of millions of hryvnias embezzled by officials during martial law have been returned to the budget. The vast majority of such crimes are impossible without the direct involvement of authorised officials.

Since the beginning of 2023, the SBI has been investigating 249 criminal proceedings on violations in the budget sector. Based on the results of the investigations, 38 indictments against 52 officials were sent to court, and 77 people were served with notices of suspicion.
In the course of the investigations, the Bureau's employees documented the receipt of bribes worth almost UAH 4 million by the suspects, and the officials caused UAH 24 million in losses to the state. Thanks to the hard work of SBI employees, the state has already been reimbursed more than UAH 9 million, and the courts have seized property worth almost UAH 4 million.
