According to the materials of the SBI the judge of the Commercial Court of Dnipropetrovsk region has been suspended from administration of justice

The High Council of Justice suspended the judge of the Commercial Court of Dnipropetrovsk region from administration of justice because he had ordered the kidnapping of his business partner.

In 2017, the «the servant of Themis» decided to make a profit from entrepreneurial activities outside his main job. Since judges are forbidden to do business, he found a business partner, on whose name he registered an agricultural company in the Sumy region.

Over time, the company was expanding, and the suspect's partner also was investing his money in its development. But the judge began to be less and less satisfied with the management of the company by his partner. At one point, he decided to exclude him from the company, but his partner did not want to leave this business for free.

Therefore, the judge engaged people from criminal environment to kidnap his partner for the price of USD 17,000 the man should have been deprived of his freedom and forced to sign the necessary documents for the transfer of the ownership of the farm's property.

The employees of the SBI documented all the illegal actions of the judge.

He was served notification of suspicion of organizing an attempted kidnapping and deprivation of liberty committed for mercenary motives, by prior conspiracy by a group of persons, and carried out for a long time (Part 2 of Article 15, Part 3 of Article 27, Part 2 of Article 146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The sanction of the Article provides for imprisonment for up to 5 years.

The suspect was also chosen a measure of restraint in the form of house arrest with the use of an electronic means of control.
