Since the beginning of the russian aggression, the SBI has been investigating 815 cases of betrayers and collaborators (INFOGRAPHICS)

The State Bureau of Investigation continues its systematic work to identify the betrayers who decided to defect to the enemy. Each of such cases is persistently investigated and all collaborators will be criminally prosecuted. 

In total, since 24th February 2022, the SBI has been investigating 815 crimes against the foundations of national security, namely: 679 criminal proceedings for high treason (Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), 104  criminal proceedings for collaborative activities (Article 111-1), 9 criminal proceedings for aiding and abetting the aggressor state (Article 111-2) and others. 

256 individuals were reported of suspicion, and 168 were put on the wanted list.

Another 1150 persons are being inspected for involvement in state treason and collaborative activities. 

22 cases were sent to court based on these articles. 

The largest number of proceedings were initiated in Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kherson regions and Kyiv. 

The work is underway. 

It should be reminded, that all betrayers will be held accountable to the law!
