Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the russian federation, the SBI has sent to the court 722 indictments for crimes against National Security of Ukraine
The State Bureau of Investigation continues systematic work to expose state traitors and collaborators.
Within the framework of the criminal proceedings, evidence and witness statements are being collected, other materials are being processed. The materials will be used to prosecute those who betrayed Ukraine during the war.
According to some criminal proceedings, the courts have already assigned real terms of imprisonment to the detained defectors.
In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the SBI has completed and continues the investigation of 2 104 criminal proceedings regarding crimes against the National Security of Ukraine.
Among them:
1 606 criminal proceedings on high treason (Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),
383 criminal proceedings on the fact of collaboration (Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),
32 criminal proceedings on aiding and abetting the aggressor state (Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), and others.
Currently, according to the results of the pre-trial investigations:
1 041 people were served notifications of suspicion,
513 people were put on the wanted list,
1 193 people are being checked for involvement in high treason and collaboration,
722 indictments were sent to the court.
Among the recent examples of the effective work of the SBI in exposing traitors and collaborators:
The head of the so-called «Supreme Court of Crimea» will be judged for high treason
According to the materials of the SBI, a former law enforcement officer who worked for the enemy during the occupation of Kherson will spend 10 years in prison
The SBI has served notification of suspicion to a former high-ranking law enforcement officer who worked in the security service of the occupiers in Zaporizhia
