In Kharkiv law enforcement officer will stand trial for cooperation with the occupants

The investigation revealed that the Ukrainian law enforcement officer had been recruited by FSB officers in the Belgorod region. Active "cooperation" began on 24 February, the first day of a large-scale attack by the Russians. At their request, the law enforcer collected information about the military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), their checkpoints, and the deployment of security units in the region.

The collected information, with specific geolocations, was transmitted to the russian supervisors via one of the Internet messengers.

In addition, the SBI employees found an arsenal of unregistered ammunition in the law enforcement officer's official vehicle, including fragmentation grenades F1 and RGN.

Therefore, the law enforcement officer is charged with high treason committed under martial law and unlawful handling of weapons, ammunition, or explosives (Part 2 of Article 111 and Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for 15 years or life imprisonment, with confiscation of property.
