Law enforcer, who met occupants in Volnovakha with "bread and salt", received suspicion of high treason from the SBI

The SBI agents notified in absentia of suspicion a former deputy head of one of the law enforcement agencies of Donetsk region, who betrayed the oath and went over to the enemy.

After russians captured Volnovakha city in Donetsk region, the law enforcement officer ignored the order of his superiors to evacuate and stayed in the temporarily occupied territory.

Moreover, the suspect personally met representatives of the aggressor country in the city. He had a job interview with the occupation leadership and promised them to return people to "service". After that, he was appointed to the illegally created "law enforcement agency" in the structure of the " ministry of emergencies of the donetsk people's republic".

The former law enforcer was notified of being suspected of high treason (Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The procedural supervision is carried out by the Luhansk Region Prosecutor's Office.

The State Bureau of Investigations continues to systematically expose and bring to justice traitors who defected to the enemy.

It should be reminded that the State Bureau of Investigation served suspicion notices to 10 former employees of Starobilsk pre-trial detention center who work for the occupants.
