The former acting CEO of the State Space Agency of Ukraine will face trial for the illegal privatization of state property in the center of Kyiv

The SBI employees have completed a pre-trial investigation of criminal proceeding regarding the illegal privatization of real estate in the center of Kyiv. The former acting CEO of the State Space Agency of Ukraine is accused of this infraction.

The indictment was sent to court.

During the pre-trial investigation, it was established that on the balance sheet of the enterprise there was non-residential premise on one of the streets of the Pechersk district in Kyiv. The premise, which was not subject to privatization according to law, was illegally transferred to the ownership of the commercial structure in 2011.

The organizers deliberately entered inaccurate information into the sales contract of premise, and also forged a report on the use of funds received from this sale from the illegal alienation.

Due to the actions of intruders, the state lost property worth more than 80 million UAN.

Legal qualification of committed criminal offenses - Part 2 of Art. 233 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Illegal privatization of public or communal property), Part 1 of Art. 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Forgery) .

On May 28, 2022, indictments against three more accomplices in the transaction were sent to the court, including the former deputy head of the State Property Fund.
