New criminal proceedings for high treason and collaborationism and the beginning of documenting of russian crimes in the Chernihiv region – The SBI sums up interim deliverables

The State Bureau of Investigation is actively counteracting traitors of Ukraine among the highest echelons of power and exposing those who are ready to cooperate with the enemy without pricks of conscience. In partnership with colleagues from other agencies, law enforcement officials are actively working to bring Ukraine closer to victory in the war with russia.

Pre-trial investigations are already underway in almost 420 such proceedings. Suspects already have been notified of suspicion in the framework of 69 criminal proceedings.

In particular, the SBI employees are verifying the possible involvement of the deputy head of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant in subversive activities against Ukraine.

In addition, after completing the documenting of crimes committed by the russian occupying forces in Irpin in the Kyiv region and Trostianets in the Sumy region, the Bureau's investigators have begun work in Chernihiv communities.
