In Donetsk region, the SBI informed three employees of the remand center of suspicion of high treason

The State Bureau of Investigation continues systematic work to identify the perpetrators who have decided to defect to the enemy. Every such fact is thoroughly investigated, and all collaborators will be held criminally liable.

The SBI employees established that after the occupation of one of the cities in Donetsk region, three members of the remand center disobeyed Ukraine and defected to the enemy.

The men willingly "joined the service" to the illegal authority of the so-called "Mariupol remand center of the State Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice of the donetsk people's republic". Moreover, the traitors demonstratively set up the flags of pseudo-republika and russian federation on the buildings of the remand center.

Three of them were suspected of high treason (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for up to 15 years. or life imprisonment.
