The SBI notified a traitor, who in 2014 defected to the enemy and durng war went to invade, among others, his native Kyivschina

The SBI employees notified the former deputy head of the Naval Forces of the National Forces of Ukraine, Igor Tatarchenko of suspicion of high treason, who in 2014 defected to the enemy side.

After the occupants invaded his unit in Sevastopol, the captain of the II rank pledged allegiance to the enemy.

Now a native of the Kyiv region is fighting against Ukraine for the occupants in the position of commander of the 155 separate marine brigades. His brigade, in particular, took part in combat operations in Buchi and Irpen. According to operational data, his close relatives still reside on the territory of the Kyiv region.

Investigators of the SBI collected enough evidence and informed the traitor about the suspicion of high treason (Part 1 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for up to 15 years. Procedural guidance provided by the Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the Military and Defense Forces of South Region.

The State Bureau of Investigation continues to carry out systematic work to identify the perpetrators, including those who defected to the enemy back in 2014. No one will avoid liability.
