The life imprisonment for a traitorous judge: the former head of Henichesk District Court was convicted based on the materials of the SBI

Based on materials of the State Bureau of Investigation, the Kherson City Court found the former head of the Henichesk District Court guilty of high treason and collaboration activities after she had defected to the enemy side right from the start of russia's full-scale invasion.

The judge had been working in the justice system since 2009, and in 2020 she became the head of the Henichesk District Court. After the occupation of part of the Kherson region, as a supporter of the “russian world,” she voluntarily began to cooperate with the occupiers. The woman passed on personal data of her colleagues (judges), law enforcement officers and military personnel of the Territorial centers of recruitment and social support to the federal security service of russian federation as well as she reported on her fellow citizens with pro-Ukrainian views. Based on her reports, the invaders persecuted and detained local patriots.

In July 2022, the defendant voluntarily took the position of a so-called “judge” in an illegal court created by the occupiers in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region and still continues to participate in repressive “trials” against Ukrainians.

The court found her guilty under Part 2 of Article 111 and Part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and sentenced her in absentia to life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
