The case of a traitor from Izyum, who said that "Ukraine will never return to the city" and then fled, is submitted to the court

The SBI agents have completed the pre-trial investigation of a former law enforcer from the Kharkiv region who, after the armed attack by russia and the seizure of territory, began working for the occupiers.

The indictment has been sent to court.

The former law enforcement officer collaborated with the aggressor after the occupation of the town of Izyum, Kharkiv region.

She voluntarily took a position in the punitive structure of the occupiers - the so-called "people's police". She persuaded her colleagues to defect and threatened them if they refused. At the same time, she assured them that "Ukraine will never return". She carried out inspections and filtration operations of Ukrainian citizens.

After Izyum was released, the traitor fled with russian troops.

She is accused of high treason committed under martial law (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

Procedural control is carried out by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
