The SBI completed a special investigation against an official-defector, who helps occupants to steal water resources in Kherson, as well as against the head of the "Employment Center" in Luhansk

The State Bureau of Investigations continues to bring to justice traitors and collaborators who assist the invaders in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

The SBI employees completed a special investigation in relation to the chief state inspector of the State Agency of Land Reclamation and Fisheries of Ukraine in Mykolaiv region, who is currently working for the occupants in Kherson.

The indictment has been sent to court.

After the seizure of the city by the invaders, the inspector voluntarily cooperated with the occupation authorities and headed the illegally created in Kherson "Department of Environmental Protection and Water Bioresources" of the occupation administration.

Now the man is engaged in the recruitment of personnel to the illegally "newly created body", helps the occupiers to use the water transport of the Kherson Environmental Patrol and issues "permits" for fishing.

In addition, an indictment against the head of the "Employment Center" of Novopskov, Luhansk region, was sent to court.

The employee of the "Employment Center" voluntarily agreed to cooperate with the occupiers and headed the so-called "Employment Center of the Luhansk People's Republic in Novopskov district".

During the pre-trial investigation, all the suspect's real estate was seized by the court, she was put on the wanted list.

The inspector of the State Agency of land reclamation and fisheries of Ukraine in Mykolaiv region and the head of the "Employment Center" are accused of voluntarily holding a position related to the performance of organizational and administrative functions in illegal authorities (Part 5 of Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 10 years.

Procedural guidance is provided by the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office and Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
