The SBI completed special investigation against commander of russian ship that shelled Mariupol

The State Bureau of Investigation continues to document the actions of military traitors who defected to the enemy in 2014 and are now fighting against Ukraine on the side of the invaders. Such work is the basis for bringing these individuals to justice in the future.

The SBI employees completed a special pre-trial investigation against the former assistant commander of the ship "Kostiantyn Olshanskyi", who betrayed the oath in 2014 and went over to the enemy side.

The indictment was sent to court.

For his betrayal, the invaders "rewarded" the captain of the second rank with the post of commander of the large landing ship "Novocherkassk" of the russian black sea fleet.

According to the investigation, it was from the "Novocherkassk" ship that the malicious shelling of Mariupol and the "Azovstal" plant was carried out.

The former Ukrainian officer is accused of treason (Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 15 years.
