The SBI completed investigation against law enforcer, who was appointed by occupants in Lyman
The SBI employees completed a special investigation against a former law enforcer from Lyman, Donetsk region, who actively cooperates with the occupants and is now hiding from the investigation in the temporarily occupied Donetsk.
The indictment was sent to court.
After Lyman's capture by russian forces, the suspect disobeyed orders to flee and joined the enemy. The former law enforcer personally asked the deputy minister of the so-called "ministry of emergencies of the donetsk people's republic" when it was possible to go on "service" during the "visit" of the deputy.
For his loyalty, he was promoted to the so-called "head of the supervisory and preventive work group of the fire and rescue squad of Krasny Liman" in the unit of the occupation administration.
After the liberation of Lyman, the man fled with the occupiers. According to available information, he is hiding in the temporarily occupied Donetsk.
The former law enforcement officer is charged in absentia with high treason (Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of life imprisonment.
The procedural supervision of the pre-trial investigation was carried out by the Donetsk Region Prosecutor's Office.
The State Bureau of Investigation is consistently working to ensure that every traitor to Ukraine is brought to justice.
Thus, according to the SBI materials, three law enforcement officers from Luhansk region who work for the occupiers will be tried.
