The former law enforcers are accused of desertion and participation in the activities of a terrorist organization (Part 1 of Art. 408, Part 1 of Art. 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The sanction of the article provides punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 15 years.
The procedural guidance is provided by the Luhansk Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the military and defense sphere of the Joint Forces.
The SBI emphasizes that crimes against the foundations of national security have no statute of limitations. All traitors will be brought to justice.
