SBI has completed investigation against occupation police careerist in Kupiansk district

SBI employees have completed a pre-trial investigation into a former law enforcement officer from Kupiansk district who was rapidly building a career in the punitive body of the invaders during the occupation of the region.

The indictment was sent to court.

It was found that after the seizure of the village of Shevchenkove, Kupiansk district, the woman signed a so-called employment contract with the occupiers, after which she began working as an inspector for personnel in the "people's police".

The defendant drew up duty schedules, prepared and collected questionnaires from new potential employees of the occupation department, and patrolled the streets. For the official tasks of the department, she received a UAZ patriot car, which the occupiers brought from russia.

After some time, the woman was "promoted" and received the position of "senior detective of the criminal investigation group of the occupation 'police station'. For her work, she received a salary in rubles.

During the liberation of the region, the defendant fled with other traitors and collaborators.

She will be tried in absentia on the fact of collaboration (Part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The article provides for a sentence of up to 15 years in prison.

The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office is in charge of the proceedings.

Earlier, the SBI served a notice of suspicion to another former law enforcement officer from the village of Shevchenkove. He was taking weapons from the local population on the instructions of the occupiers.
