The SBI detained the tax collector for occupants from Kupiansk

The State Bureau of Investigations continues to identify traitors and collaborators among former officials and public servants who, since the beginning of russia's armed aggression, have joined the enemy and contributed to the temporary occupation of some territories of Ukraine.

The SBI detained the chief state inspector of the Kupiansk Department of the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Kharkiv region, who during the temporary occupation of the city started working in the pseudo tax authority of the invaders.

The woman helped the occupiers to collect tribute from the local population, which the occupiers called "taxes". It was with her help that the invaders were registering local entrepreneurs and forcing them to pay money for business permits.

After the release of Kupiansk, the woman fled to her parents in Chuhuiv, where she was detained by the SBI officers.

The inspector was served a notice of suspicion of high treason (Part 2 Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The article provides for life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
