SBI arrests collaborator in Kharkiv region who had been hiding from justice for almost 10 months (VIDEO)

It has been established that after the occupiers seized the village of Borova in Kupiansk district, the man decided to help the aggressor restore order in the forestry sector. He received a senior position in the occupation forestry and managed illegal logging for the needs of the invaders.

After the village was liberated, the defendant did not have time to escape with the Nazis and was hiding in villages in several districts of Kharkiv region for almost 10 months. However, the SBI found his whereabouts and detained him.

The man was served a notice of suspicion of collaboration (Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The issue of choosing a measure of restraint in the form of detention is being decided.

The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for up to 10 years.

Procedural supervision is carried out by the Kharkiv Region Prosecutor's Office.
