The SBI detained the "trickster" who promised to arrange recruitment at the Bureau for $20,000

The SBI employees detained another wretched mediator who promised to arrange employment at the State Bureau of Investigation for 20 thousand U.S. dollars.

The former law enforcement officer offered his services as a mediator to a person who was planning to submit documents to the SBI and wanted to receive guidance from an experienced person. For $20,000 the law enforcement officer promised to influence the heads of the State Bureau of Investigation during the decision-making on the results of the competition for the vacant positions in the Bureau.

The bureau emphasizes - for those who plan to work for the SBI and for those who believe they can influence its leadership - it is impossible to be employed at the SBI in an unfair manner, and especially not for money. Any candidate must, following the law, win in a fair competition.

The sanction of this article provides a punishment of up to 8 years imprisonment.

Investigative actions are ongoing.

It should be mentioned that in 2021 two lawyers were detained in the Kharkiv region, who for 15 thousand US dollars promised fake employment at the SBI, and a citizen was detained in Kyiv, who for 50 thousand US dollars was trying to "sell" a position at the SBI.

In the future, we would like to encourage the recipients not to waste their time and money on wretched mediators. It is impossible to be employed at the SBI for cash!
