The State Bureau of Investigation is carrying out systematic work to block attempts by the drug mafia and russian special services to establish drug distribution schemes in Ukraine.

The enemy is trying to destabilize the situation in Ukraine at any cost. Therefore, it encourages fans of the "russian" or even "soviet world" to engage in illegal activities. This includes drug trafficking in the frontline regions.

The SBI agents exposed a law enforcement officer who set up a drug trafficking scheme in Mykolaiv region. The dealer involved his partner and others in the "black business". They searched for "clients" through a telegram channel where they informed about the "hideouts" left.

The law enforcer was exposed when he was trying to distribute the drugs.

During a search of the man's residence, about a hundred packages of packaged drugs worth about UAH 100 thousand were found. In addition, the law enforcement seized cell phones with hundreds of photos with their "hideouts" in the region. Among other things, the law enforcement officer was also keeping soviet symbols.

He was served a notice of suspicion of illegal sale of narcotic substances (Part 2 Art. 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The issue of choosing a type of detention is being decided.

The sanction of the article provides for a sentence of up to 10 years in prison.

We remind that in January, the SBI officers exposed another fan of prohibited symbols - a former law enforcement officer from Zhytomyr region. He tried to set up drug sales throughout Ukraine, including in the frontline areas.

The man organized the transfer of drugs to Mykolaiv region and wanted to expand his activities to other regions.

The searches revealed not only drugs and ammunition, but also figurines of lenin and a double-headed eagle.

The investigation is now complete and the indictment has been submitted to court. The former law enforcement officer is accused of illegal production and sale of drugs, illegal handling of weapons and ammunition (Part 1 of Article 307, Part 1 of Article 309, Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The sanction of the articles provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of 4 to 8 years.

Procedural supervision is carried out by Mykolaiv and Zhytomyr Regional Prosecutor's Offices.
