The SBI has exposed the policeman who decided to create a "drug empire" in Kyiv region (VIDEO)
The officers of the SBI exposed an operative of one of the district police departments in the Kyiv region for possession of precursors. He planned to produce 2 kg of methamphetamine from this substance.
During martial law, the policeman decided to create a small "drug empire", but the Bureau stopped his malicious intentions. The police officer bought ingredients for the manufacture of drugs on the black market, which was a dangerous precursor for human health and life. He further looked for specialists who produce drugs and psychotropic substances.
In the course of the investigation, the employees of the SBI documented that this was not the first time the operative was engaged in the organization of drug production and distribution. He has created a ramified system of distribution of drugs on the territory of the Kyiv region and used his official position for the cover-up of illegal activities.
To "expand his activity" the policeman ordered the production of a large batch of drugs, to be exact 2 kg of methamphetamine, claiming to pay the criminals 80 thousand UAH for their manufacture.
The perpetrator was arrested while taking 2 kg of ordered methamphetamine. He was accused of illegal production, making, purchasing, storage, transportation, sending or sale of narcotics, psychotropic substances, or their analogs (Part 3 Article 307 and Part 2 Article 311 of Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The sanction of the article provides for a punishment of up to 12 years of imprisonment and confiscation of property.
The SBI, with the assistance of the Department of Internal Affairs of the National Police, surveyed the place of residence of the detainee, his work, places of sale of drugs, etc.
All persons involved in drug trafficking will be given a proper legal assessment. The involvement of the management of the operation responsible for the malicious activity will also be verified.
