The SBI launched an investigation into the injury of children in Chernihiv at the arms exhibition

The SBI employees launched an investigation into the injury of children at the arms show in Chernihiv. As a result of the incident, 5 people were injured, including four children from two to twelve years old.

The investigators have already established that at the event in the city center, representatives of the organizers, demonstrating various samples of weapons and ammunition to citizens, brought a grenade launcher into combat status

Due to a careless shot, four children and one adult were hospitalized with varying degrees of severity of the damage.

An inspection of the scene, interrogation of witnesses, and seizure of weapons and ammunition are underway.

The issue of detaining those involved in the crime and notifying them of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 414 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine on the fact of violation of the rules related to handling of weapons.

Procedural guidance is carried out by the Chernihiv specialized prosecutor's office in the military and defense sphere of the Central region.
