The SBI continues its systemic work to hold accountable the judges of the Crimean Autonomous Republic, who have betrayed Ukraine after its annexation
The SBI employees completed a special pre-trial investigation of two judges of the Court of Appeal of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea for the fact of high treason (Part 1 of Article 111 of the CC of Ukraine).
The indictments were submitted to the court.
Based on the investigation reports, after the Crimean annexation, they continued their work in the illegally established by the occupants courts of annexed Crimea. Currently, the intruders are ensuring the functioning of the illegal bodies of the judicial power of the occupants.
The article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for 12 to 15 years with confiscation of property.
Procedural guidance into this criminal proceeding is provided by the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
Overall, from the beginning of the year 2022, the SBI officers completed special pre-trial investigations of 18 judges and one prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, and the indictments were sent to the court.
