The SBI notified the collaborator who joined the occupation authorities in Mariupol of suspicion of high treason

Investigators of the SBI served the notice of suspicion to the deputy head of one of the village military-civilian administrations in the Donetsk region, who sided with the enemy and began to cooperate with the collaborators actively.

The SBI investigators revealed that after the occupation of Mariupol, the suspect passed an interview with representatives of the so-called "DPR" and subsequently occupied the position of the deputy head of the so-called "local administration of the "DPR" - the administration of the city of Mariupol".

The collaborator made public statements regarding the cooperation with the occupation authorities in the "liberated" Mariupol and contributed to strengthening the occupation regime in every possible way.

The suspect was notified of suspicion of high treason (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). He faces up to 15 years of imprisonment or life imprisonment.
