The SBI reported suspicion to three collaborators who joined the occupied Snihurivka detention center

The SBI employees reported three employees of the Snihurivska penitentiary colony in the Mykolaiv region as suspects, who started working for the occupiers after the russian invasion.

After the beginning of the russian aggression, the head of the district, senior and junior inspectors of the Snihurivska penitentiary colony voluntarily defected to the enemy and received positions in the department of the penitentiary service in the Kherson region" illegally created by the occupiers.

They executed the criminal orders of the occupiers as deputy heads of the regime and supervision department and as inspectors of the communal services department of the Kherson pre-trial detention centre.

According to the information, the collaborators helped the occupiers to illegally detain the residents of Kherson in the pre-trial detention centre. In addition, one of the collaborators took the position of the inspector of the municipal services of the department of the penitentiary service in the Kherson region.

During the liberation of Kherson they fled with the occupiers.

They were accused of voluntarily holding positions in illegal law enforcement bodies established in the temporarily occupied territory (Part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The penalty under this article is up to 15 years' imprisonment.

The case is under the supervision of the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
