The SBI reported suspicion to "senior district police officer" of occupation police in Kharkiv region (VIDEO)
The SBI employees in cooperation with the National Police of Kharkiv region served a notice of suspicion to a former law enforcer, who after the russian invasion worked for the invaders in Dvorichne village, Kharkiv region.
The woman made a deal with the invaders to be employed by the local occupation police. To facilitate this, she handed over her own service weapon. The occupants gave her the position of the so-called "senior district police officer" in Dvorichne village.
After the de-occupation of the village, the woman began to hide in basements. Law enforcement officers found out where she was hiding and detained her.
She was reported suspicion of collaboration (Part 7 of Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for up to 15 years.
The procedural guidance is provided by the Kharkiv Region Prosecutor's Office.
Earlier, the SBI completed a pre-trial investigationagainst another law enforcement officer, who was appointed by russians to head the so-called "criminal investigation departement" of the occupation police in Kupiansk.
