The SBI served a notice of suspicion to the head of occupation police department of Kupyansk

The SBI employees in cooperation with the National Police of Kharkiv region reported suspicion to a former law enforcement officer from Kupyansk, who during the temporary occupation of the city worked for the invaders and headed the investigation department in the fake law enforcement body of the occupiers.

The woman organized the work of the occupation authority in the city, participated in the creation of propaganda materials for the russian media and justified the war against Ukraine in interviews with russian propagandists.

The former law enforcer was served in absentia a notice of suspicion of high treason (Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The sanction of the article provides for life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The procedural control is carried out by the Kharkiv Region Prosecutor's Office.

Earlier, the SBI completed a pre-trial investigation against another traitor from Kupiansk, who helped the occupiers to conduct searches of Ukrainian law enforcement officers.

The SBI reminds that short-term benefits from cooperation with the enemy will turn into shameful and long imprisonment.
