The SBI reported suspicion to former law enforcement officers from Vovchansk, who brought food to occupants and conducted searches for them
The State Bureau of Investigation continues systematic work on detecting and bringing to justice traitors and collaborators who voluntarily assisted the enemy during the temporary occupation of some territories of Ukraine.
The SBI employees in cooperation with the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv region detected another traitors among former law enforcers in Vovchansk, Kharkiv region.
After the occupation of Volchansk, one of them was responsible for logistics for the invaders. He went to the temporarily occupied Luhansk and brought back uniforms, food and other things that were used for the needs of the occupiers.
Another man was in charge of security as the so-called "people's police" operative in Vovchansk. He patrolled the streets and conducted searches of the locals. He was primarily interested in Ukrainian patriots and weapons kept by people.
Two former law enforcement officers were reported suspected of high treason (Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The sanction of the article provides for life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
The procedural guidance is provided by the Kharkiv Region Prosecutor's Office.
Earlier, the SBI already exposed traitors in Vovchansk - the chief forester was detained, who during temporary occupation of the city agreed to cooperate with the invaders.
Another traitor was a Ukrainian law enforcement officer in Vovchansk. He patrolled the city together with russian soldiers and regularly reported to his supervisors about the situation in the city.
