The SBI served suspicion notices to two traitors fighting against Ukraine in Kherson region

The SBI employees served a notice of suspicion in absentia to the former commander of a mechanized company and the officer of the liaison offices, who defected to the enemy in 2014.

After the occupants captured the military unit in Crimea, the officers refused to relocate to Mykolaiv and swore allegiance to the aggressor.
Despite the fact that parents of the traitors live in Poltava and Cherkasy regions, and their sons are fighting against Ukraine as part of the russian armed forces in Kherson direction. One of them is the commander of the 2nd motorized rifle brigade, and the other is the liaison officer of the 126th separate coastal defense brigade.

The SBI investigators collected enough evidence and served the former Ukrainian officers in absentia notices of suspicion of treason (Part 1 Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
They face up to 15 years in prison.

Procedural supervision is carried out by the Mykolaiv Specialized Military and Defense Prosecutor's Office of the Southern Region.
