The State Bureau of Investigation reported suspicion to 13 persons suspected of raiding a well-known construction company (VIDEO)

The SBI employees exposed a group of persons who seized corporate rights and property of a well-known construction company for a total amount of over UAH 85 million. The group included the CEO of the construction company and notaries.

It was found that the group members forged letters of attorney for illegal registration actions in state registers during 2019-2021. Their actions were facilitated by law enforcement officers.

On September 14, 2022, thirteen people were served a notice of suspicion of illegal appropriation of the company's property, using forged documents, committed by a group of persons, as well as by an official, taking advantage of his official position, which caused great damage (Part 3 of Art. 206-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

In cooperation with the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police of Ukraine, 19 simultaneous searches were conducted at the offenders' workplaces and residences in Kyiv and Kyiv region. During the investigations, the following items were seized:

electronic data storage devices and mobile phones;

seals and documents confirming illegal activities.

The issue of choosing a measure of restraint is now being decided. The suspects may face imprisonment for up to 10 years.
