The SBI suspects ex-law enforcer from Toretsk of high treason, who fled to occupied territory but left weapons for occupants at home
The SBI agents served a notice of suspicion to a former law enforcer, who voluntarily took a position in one of the units of the so-called " ministry of internal affairs of russia" created in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizzhia region.
After the beginning of the russian armed aggression, the man moved to the temporarily occupied Berdiansk, where he took the position of "senior traffic police inspector" in the so-called "Primorskyi department of the traffic police in Berdiansk and Berdiansk district of Zaporizhzhia region of the russian ministry of internal affairs".
In July, the SBI seized a cache of weapons and ammunition at the former law enforcer's place of residence in Toretsk, Donetsk region. The offender was served a notice of suspicion in absentia on illegal possession of weapons (Part 1 Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to intelligence, the arsenal was left for enemy sabotage groups.
Currently, the former law enforcement officer was notified in absentia of being suspected of high treason committed under martial law (Part 2 Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
The procedural supervision is carried out by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
Every traitor and collaborator will undoubtedly face the appropriate desreved punishment. Less traitors equals a closer victory!
