The SBI submitted to court proceedings against collaborator from Kupiansk, who turned over her law enforcement colleagues to occupants
The State Bureau of Investigation actively continues to expose and bring to justice traitors who helped the occupiers in the temporarily occupied territories.
The SBI employees in cooperation with the National Police completed the pre-trial investigation against a former law enforcer from Kupiansk, who helped the occupants to conduct searches of Ukrainian law enforcement officers.
The indictment was sent to court.
After the seizure of Kupiansk by russian troops, the woman passed them information about local law enforcement officers, participated in searches at the residences of Ukrainian law enforcement officers and their families.
The former law enforcement officer is charged in absentia with high treason (Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The sanction of the article provides for life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
The procedural guidance is provided by the Kharkiv Region Prosecutor's Office.
Earlier, the SBI completed a pre-trial investigation againstthe head of the "criminal investigation" of the occupation police in Kupiansk.
Since the beginning of the war, 94 proceedings against traitors and collaborators have been opened in Kharkiv region. 44 suspicions have been notified. 19 people have been detained.
All traitors will be found and severely punished.
