The SBI has blocked sale of humanitarian aid to villagers of Dnipropetrovsk region by officials
The State Bureau of Investigations continues to fight corruption crimes of officials who are trying to gain dishonestly due to their official position in times of war.
One of the indecent schemes of humanitarian aid sale was blocked by the SBI employees in Dnipropetrovsk region.
Almost 130 tons of flour arrived at one of the railway stations of Dnipropetrovsk region, from where it was delivered to local communities in the form of humanitarian aid.
However, some local community leaders decided not to deliver the humanitarian aid to the people, but to sell the flour through proxies at below-market prices.
The SBI documented the loading of 17 tons of flour from wagons into trucks, after which they tried to take it out for further sale without any permits.
The SBI prevented this scheme and now the collected evidence has been sent to the Main Police Department in Dnipropetrovsk region to bring to justice all those involved in the sale of humanitarian aid.
Urgent investigative actions are ongoing.
